Happiness

Happiness is waking up early a Saturday morning because your daughter is giving you a kiss on your cheek, you feel well rested, it's the first day of your vacation, enjoying freshly brewed coffee (nice cup - huh? The most touristy there is and I LOVE it! :)) and you have several fashion magazines you haven't read (and actually having time to read them!). I intend to keep this feeling the rest of the day too! Happy Saturday - enjoy it!

Goodbye Cisco

What an amazing and emotional day! After 12 years @ Cisco my final day is tomorrow... Today my fantastic colleagues had arranged a goodbye get-together in the office with speeches and greetings that made me cry like a baby! I haven't got words that could explain how proud and happy it made me feel; I'll keep these years, my wonderful colleagues and these words as one beautiful memory in my heart forever! A million thanks!!! And to top it all I got this fabulous flower arrangement and a gift card worth nearly 600$ at one of the best high-end stores in Oslo - EGER! No wonder why I'm both sad and happy today!

LBD + a dash of color

This is one of those days where hidden stuff suddenly appear; I just found 2 LBD's wrapped in plastic, ordered from ASOS quite a while ago! I love the length and the fabric (read: easy to hide love-handles) on both. Since it still feels like winter outside I would style it with these shoes from Louboutin, a plain black leather jacket and add a dash of more red with this clutch - also from my beloved ASOS! When the summer arrives I think I'll rather pair the LBD with sandals in a fresh color! Happy Wednesday!

I've decided to live by this "rule" going forward. In the end I think it would be a lot more fun as well! ;)

Be childish

You know you have a pretty childish bracelet combo when your 5-year old love'm! But do you know what? It's fun to be childish and it definitely makes my mood better! Go out there and play!

Are peonies replacing roses?

If you ask Dolce & Gabbana, the answer would be yes! I've never been a huge fan of flower printed outfits, but I know one thing for sure: Never say never - right? These peony-printed looks great on these models, but until further notice I think I'll keep mine in a vase!

All I want for summer...

... is this dress & clutch from Matthew Williamson! AMAZING - right? I presume thousands of other items will be added to the wishlist in the coming weeks! Could someone just bring the spring temperatures along!? ;)
